Speech, Language, & Social Smarts Therapist

No Significant Learning can occur without a significant relationship.

James Comer, Yale University

Time spent building a connection is time well spent. You have to reach them to teach them. Kids should be treated with respect and therapists should ask more questions. Great play leads to great language. Lessons that are built around the person’s interests and parlayed into standard instruction are more likely to stick. Aim to help differently wired people preserve their authentic selves, understand the world around them and for the world to understand them. The goal is to empower with knowledge, skills and tools to enhance effective communication and improve lives.
